The legend of Maxim’s began in May 1893 when Irma de Montigny, a seductive courtesan, pushed open the door of the little bistro, located at 3 rue Royale, opened a few days earlier by Maxime Gaillard, a waiter. After more than 120 years of history, Maxim’s has become a real legendary universe and is today one of the most famous and mythical French restaurants, thanks to its invaluable historical heritage.
