Description
Your stroll through the heart of the Île de la Cité, commonly called the "cradle of Paris", will begin at the Place du Châtelet. Your guide will tell you the story of the fabulous Sainte-Chapelle, next to the Conciergerie, a former state prison.
After having enriched your knowledge on the construction of the Palais de Justice, you will follow the banks of the Seine to the end of the Île, passing in front of the Pont Neuf, the oldest stone bridge in Paris, as well as the Place Dauphine. You will then have an overview of the many modifications that this place has undergone, at the initiative of King Henri IV.
Finally, your tour guide will tell you some anecdotes about the Gothic jewel of the capital: Notre-Dame Cathedral. A beautiful stroll to the origins of Paris.
